@Margaret2023 , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your messages.
There can be various reasons why your activities were not recorded or recognized correctly.
For example, the activity is not fully recognized by your movement patterns or recognized other movements.
You paused for more than 30 seconds during the first few minutes, so the tracker might "think" the exercise was over.
I recommend restarting your tracker and setting the start times for the activities differently. For example, set it to 10 minutes for a walk, 15 for a run, 20 for an outdoor bike ride, etc., and/or ignoring the activities you don't use.
You can find the instructions for this here. Can I change how my activities are tracked?

It's unusual for a fitness tracker like the Fitbit Inspire 3 to log swimming exercises when you're not actually swimming. However, there can be several reasons behind such unexpected activity tracking. Here are some potential explanations:
Sensor Misreadings: Fitness trackers use various sensors to detect movement and activities. Sometimes, these sensors can misread or misinterpret certain movements or gestures as swimming strokes. For example, if you move your arms in a way that resembles swimming strokes while in bed, it might trigger the tracker to log a swimming activity.
Water Exposure: Water can sometimes trigger swimming activity detection on fitness trackers. If your Inspire 3 came into contact with water or got wet during the night, it might have falsely detected swimming movements.
Loose Fit: Ensure that your Fitbit Inspire 3 is securely fastened to your wrist. A loose fit can lead to erratic readings and potentially trigger false activity logs.
Software Glitch: Occasionally, fitness tracker software can have bugs or glitches that result in incorrect activity tracking. Check if there are any available firmware updates for your Inspire 3, as these updates may include bug fixes.
Interference: Sometimes, electronic interference or other devices in close proximity can affect the sensors on your fitness tracker, causing erroneous readings.
