I have recently updated from a Fitbit One to an Inspire 3. The calories burned are shown as much higher than on the One. The One calories burned were reasonable as I managed to lose weight at the rate I wanted using the One data.
My husband also has an Inspire 3 and his calories burned are significantly lower than mine although we have similar physical and exercise profiles.
If I ate 2600 calories a day as shown by my calories burned, I would be overweight very quickly!

Hi there, @karenem. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your new Inspire 3 is tracking too many calories. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
As a first approach, please take into consideration the information provided by @JohnnyRow.
I'm glad to hear that the calories burned seem ok now, I'd like to ask if by any chance, you've checked if your personal data has been entered correctly? Please note that your BMR is based on the physical data you entered in to your Fitbit account (height, weight, sex, and age) and accounts for at least half the calories you burn in a day.
To update your profile, see How do I change the units of measurement in my Fitbit account?
