Hi, my Fitbit app no longer works on iPad or iPhone. IOS is up to date as it Fitbit. My data never loads. Even if I restart device, delete then reinstall app. Max it works for one day then I have to go thru process again but at the moment it just doesn’t load no matter what I do……

Mine stop synching after the last update. That update has a glitch.    Please fix it.

Hi there, @Connie69. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire 3 has stopped syncing after the update. I understand where your concern is coming from, I will do my best to help you with this.

As a first approach, I suggest following the troubleshooting steps provided in this help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

If the issue persists, please try the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and Fitbit app.
  • Unpair other Bluetooth devices that you may also have paired to your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use. This can help to prevent connectivity issues or Bluetooth interference.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Plug it into the charging cable and open the Fitbit app.
  • Set up your Fitbit device.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Once your Fitbit device is paired and syncing, please proceed to set up your other Bluetooth devices to your phone again.

With the steps above, what I want you to do is to pair your Inspire 3 first to your phone's Bluetooth settings before any other Bluetooth device is connected to your phone.

Please be aware that most Fitbit devices store up to 7 days of detailed minute-by-minute data. If you wait longer than 7 days before syncing, you may only see the most recent week's detailed data. Summary data (calories, distance, steps, and floors) will be stored for 30 days. Nevertheless, if your Fitbit device was unpaired from your Fitbit account during this period of time, neither the 7 days can be recovered or restored.

I have done all these things. I have to turn off blue tooth and then turn it back on to synch. Very unreliable to keep track.

The update is the problem. When will it get fixed?

Agree. Nothing but Sue’s here too. I am about ready to move to another brand to have the stability.

I have the same issue:((

When will this update be fixed. My fitbit is still under warranty. Getting ready to take advantage of that warranty. Tracker no longer tracks properly and synching is ridiculously time consuming.

I am so glad to hear it’s not just me!  This has been really frustrating.  Please fix this update.

Yes, after being with fitbit probably over ten years, I’m leaving because of these constant connection issues.  I’m tired of troubleshooting every time I want to see my stats on my phone.

Best Answer

Same. It either takes forever to sync or it doesn’t. Keeps telling me ‘no info’ for the battery and there’s an update available but the app is updated.

I thought it was just me!! I never get notifications from my phone anymore like my old Inspire! Most times when I check my stats they are gone and it takes forever for me to get them back, sometimes I can get them back.
Im super disappointed in this watch and just wish I could have fixed my old one. It was WAY BETTER!!!

Same here. I’m on my second Inspire 3 after trading the original one in during the warranty. I’ve never been so frustrated with a product. I’ve done every troubleshooting step and can’t bear to speak to another tech person. This is a piece of garbage.

Best Answer

Oh, and neither of my Inspire 3s stays connected to Bluetooth. I have to reconnect it every day, sometimes more than once.

Same here! Ridiculous.

Hi - none of these fixes are working for me and my Fitbit still won’t sink to my device (iPhone). Is there anything else you can suggest?

Best Answer

If you notice, a tech responded to earlier posts but doesn’t even bother anymore. They’re a mess.
