Hi

My fitbit inspire 3 is not registering calls or text. There are no controls showing o Bluetooth it says I need an app which I have.

I followed your advice on other posts. I have turned off Bluetooth unconnected all devices, I've logged in and out, I've deleted app re installed app, updated app and phone but the problem still happening.

My fitbit is 6 months old, this shouldn't be happening.

Moderator Edit: Clarified subject

Do you have any other advice?

Hi there, @Maxthom. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire 3 is still not receiving notifications. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

As per the message on the Fitbit device's screen, it seems that your Inspire 3 is asking to be paired. With that said, I'd suggest following the steps below:

  • Check if by any chance your phone's Bluetooth shows the Inspire 3 as a connected device. If so, please unpair/remove it.
  • Remove the Inspire 3 from your Fitbit account and your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Inspire 3 again.
  • Set up the notifications on your Inspire 3 again.

If you can't get started with your Inspire 3, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
