I have been experiencing problems with sleep scoring on my Inspire 3 for about 6 weeks. Basically the device is not recording breathing rate although all other measures seem to work. This started end November with intermittent failures (breathing rate was recorded 10 nights out of 31 in December) but has failed totally since 3rd January. I am aware this problem has arisen in the past due to software error and have already tried the fixes mentioned back in 2021, plus reset the band a few times and switched wrists, all to no avail.
Strangely the problem first arose the day I arrived on holiday in a time zone 10 hours different from my UK base. It was also shortly after I migrated from a Fitbit to a Google account. Does anybody have any ideas, please?

Is my understanding correct that you are getting sleep stages (awake, REM, light, deep) every night, along with the HRV and other heart metrics, with the exception of Breathing Rate?

You mentioned that this problem started when you changed regions while on holiday. Some of these metrics aren't available in all regions, so maybe the device became confused by the region change.
You can try changing regions in the App and restarting things again to see if that helps to resolve the issue.

It is very strange that the HRV heart metric was returned with no sleep stages, because the Sleep algorithm uses HRV as one of the metrics to determine sleep stages. Documentation does suggest that the Breathing Rate metric doesn't get returned if sleep stages can't be determined, however.
Since this issue didn't start happening until you changed regions, it wouldn't hurt to try changing the region from the UK to another supported region, restarting the device and phone and then setting the region back to the UK again to see if that helps.

Fingers crossed changing the region manually may have worked as the device has given me both a breathing rate and full sleep score this morning. However as I had 10 sleep scores last month I won't put this to bed until the sleep score has appeared for several consecutive nights. My wife also has an Inspire 34 and that continued to supply all readings as normal through the region changes so it appears to be an issue with this device.
Thanks,

After going through a sequence of reversing the region change twice after 2 nights when everything has worked fully returning a sleep score with stages, last night only a summary sleep breakdown appeared without the sleep score and breathing rate. I am convinced it is something to do with the region change but will now go down the route of reistalling the software but not before the weekend as I am away. Not a big deal really but so frustrating!
