Inspire 3 not showing heart rate, sleep score for two days

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

I have an inspire 3 which was working fine until I noticed that today and yesterday it didn’t record a sleep score, heart rate or daily readiness. Everything apart from steps which seem to be accurate. Is there something I need to do to remedy this?

It's good to see you participating in the community for the first time @Elaine14.

Thank you for sharing the details regarding this difficulty with your Inspire 3.

Please troubleshoot the heart rate feature following these steps:

  • Switch the Heart Rate settings from On to Off and manually sync your Inspire 3. To switch the heart rate settings on your Fitbit device, on your Inspire 3, open the Settings app > Heart Rate tap to turn the setting On.
  • Once it's done, manually sync your Inspire 3. From the Today tab, tap Devices > device image
  • Tap Sync Now.
  • Next, switch it from Off to On and manually sync your Inspire 3 once again.
  • Once it's done, restart your Fitbit device.
  • Next, confirm that your Fitbit device is snug on your wrist (the lights shouldn't be visible) We also recommend when you're not exercising, wear the tracker just above the wrist bone.

Keep in mind that you must see sleep stages in order to see a sleep score. There are a few scenarios where you might see your sleep pattern (which shows your time asleep, restless, and awake) instead of sleep stages:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

If you see sleep stages but don’t see a sleep score, please note that it may take a few minutes for your sleep score to appear. In addition, for better results please try to let the device detect that you're awake or asleep by itself rather than doing it manually and make sure to keep the Fitbit app and the devices' firmware updated to the latest version available.

Hi,

Thanks for this but as of today it is not transferring anything to my phone
or ipad even though the device itself is recording steps still. I have
restarted the app several times on the phone and ipad and restarted the
fitbit. This is very frustrating, I only got this device at Christmas!

For clarity nothing is being shown on my phone and ipad but steps and
heart rate are being shown on the device.

Can I have a solution to this please?

Hi @Elaine14 ,

If you are seeing data on your device, but nothing on your phone, then it sounds like you have a possible sync issue.  There are several recommendations for things to try to resolve the sync issue, but contacting Customer Service and working with them in real-time would probably be the fastest way to get your sync issue resolved.

Just click on the icon in the upper right-hand corner of the App Today screen and then navigate to Help > Help Center to contact someone on the Customer Service team who should be able to help you resolve that sync issue fairly quickly.
