Inspire 3 possibly broken?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

a friend of mine recently asked me if i could fix the inspire 3 they had recently bought, saying that it wouldnt turn on. i have tried charging it overnight, restarting it, and tried connecting it to my phone to see if the clock face was not bright enough. when i plug it in or try to restart it, the blue fitbit logo appears for about a second then disappears. the side buttons only vibrate when the device is plugged in. i believe this may be a hardware issue, but i was wondering if anyone had any ideas of what to do?

Hi @clareamid  if they bought it from Fitbit directly, they can return it within 45 days for a refund. If bought at another retailer, they all have different return windows. I have the Inspire 3 and there are no side buttons. It shouldn't be charged overnight, as the battery can be fully charged in two hours. The Fitbit logo is supposed to pop up when you restart the device. It seems you've done what you could to help your friend. You can try getting with customer support to see what else they can determine.

here are the support contacts I've gleaned over the years on the forums.

when there is someone available, chat is an option. Phone or X/Twitter works well, too.
