My Inspire 3 often says I had 0 Rem sleep when I know I have dreamed more than once. I had trouble previously just getting detailed sleep data, but always syncing right when I get into bed seems to have helped with that problem. Any suggestions regarding the no REM issue?

Hi @dincyb -- Fitbit estimates sleep stages through heart rate patterns and movement. Here is a link to more details. When you don't get sleep stages at all, it is usually because you didn't sleep for the minimum 3 hours, or because the device is having trouble getting HR information. That can often be addressed by changing the position of the device on your wrist (tighten or loosen, switch wrist, etc. ... you have to experiment). You can also try restarting your Inspire 3.
Personally, I either get detailed sleep data or I don't. If I do get detailed data, I get a least some of each stage (light, deep, REM). To the extent that you are regularly getting detailed sleep but no REM, it may be that your body doesn't react in a way that reflects typical REM reactions, i.e., HR doesn't increase and breathing doesn't become irregular).
Hope that helps. If you get it working, let us know what fixed it.

Thanks, Scott. I've tried all those things, but I appreciate your suggestion that it may be that my body doesn't react typically. That being said, just this morning, I got what seemed to very accurate data. I was vividly dreaming just as I woke up and it showed that perfectly!
