Inspire 3 screen does not wake on wrist turn

Hi, from a week or so my Inspire 3 does not automatically wake when I try to read the time. It looks like it doesn't detect my wrist movement. The water block is not set, and I couldn't figure out what other setting could affect this behavior.

Okay, I figured it out. My device language is set to Italian, so I couldn't figure out that the setting "Sveglia automatica" actually refers to the screen wake. "Sveglia" actually translates to "alarm clock" when used as a noun,  so I thought it was used to configure the alarm behavior. It looks like it's been machine translated from English to Italian, please be more careful when translating device settings.

Hi there, @calm_squirrel. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot this before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from and thanks for confirming you've checked that 'Water lock' if off.

Please make sure the 'Sleep mode' is not turn on. See How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

When sleep mode is on:

  • Notifications, goal celebrations, and reminders are muted.
  • The screen's brightness is set to dim.
  • The screen stays dark when you turn your wrist. To wake Inspire 3, firmly tap the screen twice.
  • The sleep mode icon illuminates in quick settings.

If this settings is set correctly, please try restarting your Inspire 3 by following these steps: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Hope that helps.

Hi, thanks for the answer. Sleep mode was not turned on (I also tried to turn it on and off). Restarting the device did not solve the issue either.
