Inspire 3 screen wake feature isn't working

Hello, and thank you in advance for all responses.

I just purchased a new Inspire 3.  I've had a few versions of the Charge before so am familiar with how the Fitbit is supposed to work.  I have paired it to my app and charge it fully.  But when I tap the screen nothing happens. Moving my wrist does not do anything to get a live screen.  I have to click the side buttons once or twice together to get the clock face to show.  When I do get it, as soon as I touch the screen to swipe up or down to see the menus it goes to black and I cannot access anything.  Appreciate all troubleshooting advice, many thanks.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hello JohnnyRow, thank you for your response.  The issue is that tapping the screen to 'wake up' does not always work and turning my wrist never works.  I can hit the buttons to get the clock face.  But as soon as I touch the screen to swipe it goes dark and I cannot access anything...

I wasn't attempting to address your whole issue. But you mentioned 'when you tap the screen nothing happens'.  I was pointing out that you have to tap the screen twice (and firmly), not sure if the Charge models you had might have just required a single tap.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
