Inspire 3 showing the Fitbit Logo and a line

Just received my Inspire 3 today.  Got it setup and it seemed to be working OK.  Now the Fitbit logo is showing on the screen with the line showing the battery charge, and the devive is completely unresponsive.  I've tried to charge it, but still only have the logo displayed on the screen.  The line showing the battery charge is not moving.

@Jo1ere have you tried restarting it? That is usually the first thing to try when you encounter unexpected behavior.

Thank you. A restart did work, but I did not know how to do a restart
without access to the menu. I called fitbit support and the person I got
was very helpful and explained how to hold down the buttons on each side of
the fitbit to force a restart.
