FitBit Inspire 3 - While connected to charger, I see the screen with the date, battery level (100%) and time.  I swipe right, I see clock for 1/2 second, then the fitbit logo, and finally a message to download fitbit app. When I remove the device from the charger, it immediately goes to Download Fitbit Mobile App message. In the fitbit app on my phone, I try to pair the Inspire 3, app sees the Inspire 3 but never get the 4 digit code to complete the pair.

Any ideas?

Hi there, @Tom-C. Nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums, welcome. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with your Inspire 3 and for the steps you've tried before reaching out.

It's good to know that your Inspire 3 is fully charged. As you can't get the 4 digit code, I suggest following the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Inspire 3 from your phone's Bluetooth and also make sure it's no longer connect to your Fitbit app.
  • Restart your Inspire 3
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Inspire 3.

If you can't get started with your Inspire 3, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
