I bought a Fitbit inspire3 mostly because I like the small size. That said, I find the sleep tracking very strange.
I’ll often go to bed around midnight and sometimes the sleep tracking won’t register that I fall asleep until after one in the morning. Other times, it says I go to sleep, accurately, but then says I’ll wake up an hour earlier than I did.
I’m still within the 30 day return window. Is this normal?. I’m still within the 30 day return window.
Also, if I do return it what would be a good substitute? Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the community, @mothanka.
Thanks for letting me know your doubts about the Inspire 3 sleep feature and how it actually works.
I recommend you to check this article, specifically in the part 'Why don't I see sleep stages today?' since it will give you some suggestions for you to take into consideration either you don't get the correct sleep tracking or if you're not getting the sleep tracking.
Let me know how it goes, please.

@mothanka, the sleep duration variance issue that you mentioned is a very common complaint on the forum, which appears to be associated with the algorithm that Google uses to determine when the sleep stage starts and ends, so it's going to require an improvement of the sleep algorithm to resolve that issue.
Therefore, any Fitbit or Google fitness products that support sleep tracking are going to have the same issue.
