Hi there, @Mnpenrose. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire 3 stopped tracking your heart rate. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

If the steps recommended by @Odyssey13 don't work, I'd suggest resetting the heart rate settings by following the steps below:

  • Switch the Heart Rate settings from On to Off and manually sync your watch. To switch the heart rate settings on your Inspire 3, from the main screen of your Fitbit device, open the Settings app > Heart Rate > tap to turn the setting OFF.
  • Once it's done, manually sync your Inspire 3. To do so, open the Fitbit app, tap on the Account icon, tap on your Fitbit device's image and tap on "Sync Now"
  • Next, switch it from Off to On and manually sync your Inspire 3 once again.
  • Once it's done, restart your Inspire 3.
  • Next, confirm that your tracker is snug on your wrist (the lights shouldn't be visible). We also recommend when you're not exercising, wear the tracker just above the wrist bone.

My Fitbit is doing the same thing. I had the inspire 3 and heart rate worked fine for the first 6 months then suddenly stopped working. Tried all the suggestions, spent about an hour trouble shooting on the phone with Fitbit support and even they couldn’t figure it out, so Fitbit shipped a replacement since it was still under warranty. New one arrived, and it’s going the same exact thing. No heart rate tracking. Any thoughts? Heart rate tracking and the resulting sleep tracking is the primary reason why I chose Fitbit so I’m at a loss.
