I’ve tried restarting the device and turning down the brightness and turning off always on display but it will not become dimmer. it’s sucking the battery life the the colors are more bland and i want a dimmer screen back.

I appreciate your message, and I'm sorry to hear that you are unable to turn down the brightness and to turn off the always on display.
