Inspire 3 stuck on download Fitbit app

I’ve been having a problem with having my Fitbit recognizing that my phone downloaded the Fitbit app. I thought disconnecting the device from my phone would do something but now it’s stuck on “download the Fitbit mobile app” screen. What do I do?

Hi, @Uzzi it sounds like the Fitbit app on your phone is having difficulty receiving the Bluetooth signal from your device.  Sometimes the issue can be caused by interference with other Bluetooth devices.  If you have any other phones or tablets or other Bluetooth devices around it may help to turn off their Bluetooth or move them out of range.  Please also move any other Fitbits out of range as well.

Then with only your phone and Fitbit (well charged) within range, log out of your Fitbit app.  Then toggle Bluetooth off on your phone, wait a minute and turn Bluetooth back on.  Log back in to your Fitbit app and then re-try the set up process: from the opening screen of the app click on the small icon top left (smartphone and watch).  On the bottom of the next screen click on “Set up a device” and choose Inspire 3.  Follow the instructions from there.

If you still have no success then log out of the Fitbit app again, return to your phone’s Bluetooth settings and remove all connected devices.  (I know this is a pain, but it sometimes helps to have your Fitbit be the only connected device.). When all Bluetooth devices have been removed, repeat the steps above: toggle Bluetooth off and then on, log back into Fitbit app, start set up procedure.
