Hi @Joy666 , on your Fitbit app go click on the person icon top left then click on your Inspire 3 picture.  If that doesn’t prompt pairing and linking click on “notifications”.  Make sure you have selected all notifications you require and then at the top right of the notifications screen click on the 3 vertical dots and choose “Send a test call notification”.  You may have to do this a couple of times, but hopefully that will get you fully paired up.

Also, just checking, you didn’t have your device connected to a previous phone that you still have?  Because if so, you may need to go to the Bluetooth settings and forget the device.  Likewise if you use another device like a tablet to sync your Fitbit as well as your phone that may interfere with receiving notifications.

Hi, @Joy666 it sounds like you were trying to pair your Inspire 3 in the Bluetooth settings on your phone.  The pairing needs to be done in the Fitbit app; it cannot be done using the Bluetooth settings on your phone.  That is why you are getting the message.  You can either do this during the initial set up of your Inspire 3, or if it wasn’t done then, opening your app should prompt a message to pair.

That assumes you have already set up your inspire 3.  If it is not yet set up, open your app, click on the person photo/icon top left and on the next screen click on + set up a device, choose Inspire 3 from the drop down list and follow the instructions from there.  Bluetooth pairing will take place during set up.

Please post again if you have further questions.  Welcome to the forums!

Hi Julia, thank you for the reply. I have set up app etc but still no luck. Do you think uninstalling and reinstalling would help? JoySent from my Galaxy

Hi, @Joy666 , is your Inspire 3 set up on your account?  When you open your app and click on the person/photo icon top left, you should see on the next screen (the account screen) that you have an Inspire 3.

If the answer is yes, but your Inspire 3 is not “paired” to your phone, if you set up notifications then that should prompt it to pair.  Closing the app and reopening it should also prompt a pairing, as mentioned above.

I may help to mention what phone you are using.

It is saying it has paired but I am still not receiving phone messages, calls etc. It is a Samsung 21. Maybe this is not an option with this particular fitbit🤷‍:female_sign:Sent from my Galaxy

@Julia_G , Thank you for your help .

@Joy666 , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your efforts.

Just wanted to add, to Julia_G 's recommendations and remind you again, to have the previous mobile device, either off, Bluetooth off, or the Fitbit app deleted from it. So that the only connection possible is the new phone.

If you haven't done so yet, please have a look at this: Why are notifications delayed or missing?
