Inspire 3 stuck on time screen

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Inspire 3 is almost a year old. It is basically a watch at the moment as it won’t swipe off time. It still tracks data I can check on the app but I can’t check on the device.
I have restarted it several times, done a firmware update and changed the watch face several times but nothing helps.

Suggestions?

Hi there, @ShelleySky. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire 3 is still stuck on the time screen. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

Please check if your Inspire 3 is on "Always-On" display mode as this feature will only show you the time on the main screen all the time, unless you press the button of your Fitbit device to see other features and stats. To turn it off, please follow the steps below:

  1. Swipe down from the clock face to access quick settings.
  2. Tap the Settings app > Display settings > Always-on display.
  3. Tap Always-on display to turn the setting off. To set the display to automatically turn off during certain hours, tap Off-hours.

Thanks for responding. I cannot swipe off the clock face at all so this won’t work for me. I can only see the time and cannot swipe in any direction.

This happened to me yesterday! I had to do a little reboot of my inspire 3 by plugging it into charge and then holding the buttons until it restarted (round ten-fifteen seconds). I think the recent update caused a bit of a bug but hopefully rebooting will at least temporarily solve the issue for your watch

I’ve done that several times as well. It didn’t help mine. It started acting weird before the firmware update.
