Hi,
i am experiencing quite a bit of problems with the water lock of my Inspire 3.
When the lock is active the “double-tap to unlock” function is not working… it took me a good 40 isch tries before actually unlocking the tracker.
Note that it never got in contact with water, I was only testing the function.
Any other Inspire 3 owners experienced that?
Kindly,
Nicolas.

@nicodmt Thank you for getting back to me and for confirming this information.
I understand how you feel. In this case, let's try to restart it to confirm if this is not a hardware issue. Since it shouldn't be happening.
See you around.

Hi there, @nicodmt. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the inconvenience with your Inspire 3.
It seems that your Inspire 3 was calibrating this feature. When trying again, please firmly double-tap the middle of the screen with your finger. If you don't see "Unlocked" appear on screen, try tapping harder. Turning off this feature uses the accelerometer in your device, which takes more force to activate. Remember to turn your wrist toward your body while tapping on it.
Hope that helps.

Hi Yojana and thanks for your reply!
Within these 40 isch attempts on unlocking the device I double pressed in a lot of different ways. All the way from feather light to “I’m going to brake this”.
I retried the water lock function but got the same outcome again. Kind of scary not knowing if it will be possible to unlock the tracker!
Perhaps something needs to be adjusted on the software side making it easier.
Kindly, Nicolas.

Hi Nicolas,
I have the same issue, awkwardly hitting it more times to lock/unlock it. I'm thinking about exchanging the model since it's only 2nd day I have it. How have you resolved it in the end?
Thanks

Hi,
unfortunately I wasn’t able to.
So my, sad, solution is to not use my Inspire 3 anymore…
Hope yours will work!
