Hi there, @LynseyBrogan. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire 3 is not connecting with your phone. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!

As a first approach, I'd recommend checking if your mobile device meets the requirements to properly operate with your Fitbit device. For more information, see Fitbit Compatible Devices.

If you haven't done so, please try all troubleshooting steps provided here Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

My Inspire 3 lost its connection to the iPhone app yesterday.  This has happened occasionally and usually turning bluetooth off and/or "forgetting" the Fitbit has worked to re-establish the connection.  Not this time.  I had to uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app to regain the connection.

Mine has lost its connection to the app also.   Ugh...have tried everything.   Now setup can't even find my device.  I switched to the Inspire 3 a few months ago, when the same issue started happening to my Fitbit One.

@jlmcgar and @lmacmil next time try clearing your Fitbit cache and removing the tracker from the phones bluetooth.

Yes, if the tracker will not communicate to sync, it generally will not communicate to setup.

Lets force stop the fitbit app, clear the fitbit data, remove the tracker from the phones bluetooth, restart the phone.

Open the fitbit app, log in, if the tracker is still connected to your fitbit account, it should sync. Or you should be able to setup the tracker.

Not all of the above steps should be required, but by doing them all the issue should be fixed. Only once in thr last 5+ years did these steps not work for me  i usually try one or two at a time, when i find the step that worked, that step is the first i try next time. However this way takes up a lot more time.
