Inspire 3 won't generate a GPS map on hike mode

Hello, only about half the time does my inspire 3 create a GPS map on Hike mode. My Bluetooth and GPS tracking is on (selected as Always On for Fitbit) so I don’t really understand what’s going on. My phone is with me the entire time.

You will appreciate your Inspire 3 uses the phone's GPS and you need to ensure the Fitbit app runs constantly in the background. You do not mention the make or model of your cellphone, for an Android phone, you should check the following. From the phone's "settings">apps>Fitbit>permissions, (including location) allow all> storage & cache, clear cache>Mobile data & Wifi ensure background data & unrestricted data are on and you have sufficient credit in your data account>app battery usage, set to unrestricted. This last is because some phones treat the Fitbit app as non-essential and close it down when we need it to be running in the background constantly. Once you check these settings sync your Fitbit app.
