Good day,
Working on a ship, I’ve been having difficulty synchronising my fitbit with my Iphone while on a relatively slow internet connection with high latency (I am able to post this thread on the current slow internet).
Is there any way that fitbit could make an offline sync function? Or perhaps seperate the watch synchronisation and online synchronisation?
This is quite frustrating as the fitbit is pretty much useless without being able to sync.

Hello @JohannMulder and welcome to the Community. Users have been asking for an offline sync feature for years. Unfortunately, there are no plans to add this feature.

Thank you Laurie, thats rather disappointing and quite frustrating. The internet onboard is good enough to stream Youtube videos browse this website, but not good enough to sync my fitbit, there must be some issues with the fitbit server in this regard. The fitbit is pretty much useless and I’ll be cancelling my premium subscription.

Hi, Johann. I'm a seaman too and have same issue. How i can contact you? Maybe we can discuss and change our fitbit devices;)

Hi Ivza, not sure that anything can be done about this, we are a small group of people against millions and it seems that fitbit is more interested in mining our data than providing offline facilities.
