Inspire 3 won't track my SpO2 data

I got my inspire 3 three days ago and I have slept with it on my wrist twice. (Both of these sessions have been over 3 hours) Each time, the SpO2 variation shows up on the sleep menu but the average does not get recorded on the health metrics menu and it does not display on the watch face stats. When I Uninstall and install the SpO2 app on the clock face and then sync, only then will it record.

Thanks,

Karthi

Hi there, @Karthi_V. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Inspire 3 before reaching out.

Did you set up your Inspire 3 just right after getting it? If you got it 3 days ago, but just set it up, this would explain why you're not getting your data as this requires 3 nights of data.

Please keep in mind the following to make sure you see your health metrics data:

  • Wear your device for at least 1 full day (during the day and to sleep at night). Check your stats after you wake up in the morning. Note: skin temperature requires 3 nights of data.
  • Make sure the back of your device is in contact with your skin. The band should be snug but not constricting. If you experience any discomfort, loosen the band, and if it persists give your wrist a break by taking it off.
  • Most metrics require at least 3 hours of quality sleep. If you move a lot during your sleep or the sleep session is too short, you might not get a reading.
  • To track your blood oxygen saturation, confirm you have an SpO2 clock face installed or the SpO2 app. For more information, see How do I track blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) with my Fitbit device?

For more detailed information, see What should I know about health metrics in the Fitbit app?

Regarding SpO2, keep the following in mind to make sure your Fitbit device successfully measures your SpO2 values:

  • Your device doesn’t retroactively measure your SpO2 values. After you install the clock face, you’ll see dashed lines until after your next sleep session.
  • Charge your Fitbit device to make sure it’s able to collect data throughout your entire sleep session. Note that you may have to charge your Fitbit device more often when using the SpO2 Signature clock face.
  • Your Fitbit device must sync with the Fitbit app before the clock face updates. Note that it may take around an hour for your SpO2 values to appear after you sync your device. For troubleshooting syncing, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
  • Turning off any clock face permissions can cause the clock face to stop functioning. To check these settings:

    1. With your Fitbit device nearby, open the Fitbit app on your phone or tablet.
    2. In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image.
    3. Tap Clock Faces.
    4. Tap the SpO2 Signature clock face.
    5. Tap Permissions. Turn on any permissions you turned off.
    6. Tap Details when you're done making changes.
  • Your Fitbit device must be able to consistently track your SpO2 data:

    • Wear your device slightly higher on your wrist.

    • Make sure your device is in contact with your skin.

    • Your device should be snug but not constricting.

    • Tattooed skin can impact the accuracy of the red and infrared sensors on your Fitbit device.

I had set it up the day I got it. I have only worn it for 2 nights though, so that should be the problem.

@Karthi_V Thanks for the details provided. I suggest you to wear it a couple of days more so it can now populate your data.

I'll be around if you need further help.
