Inspire 3 won't track my heart rate accurately

Got a fit bit because my heart rate has been unusually high at the doctors heart rate was 140 at rest , while exercising my heart will jump to 205. I got the Fitbit to make sure I stay out of the danger zone. I’m 27 year old female , and go to the gym 5 times a week with a healthy bmi. I’m super disappointed in the inaccurate reads. On the treadmill while running it said my heart rate was 180 but the Fitbit said it was 115… super way off I even took it off and holded it to my neck staying still. How do I fix this problem?

Hi there, @Sillyworkout. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Inspire 3. I understand how you must be feeling.

Is your Inspire 3 brand new? If so, since you just got the Inspire 3, give the heart rate a few days to settle down. It does some calculations, looking at heart rate throughout the day and while you are sleeping, so it might just not have enough data to give a reasonable value yet.
