Inspire 3 won't track my steps when walking in the camper

I have a large camper and when the weather is bad I walk as much as I can in the camper. My Inspire 3 will not track any steps at all or only 1 or 2. My Samsung phone syncs just fine with it in the camper.

Also, when riding in a vehicle on rough roads it will track hundreds of steps.

Hi, @coopebc55, welcome to the community, you may find this article of interest How does my Fitbit device calculate my daily activity? - Fitbit Help Center You will note steps are recognised by the movement of your arm. If you are walking with a shopping trolly or stroller & your arm is not moving then few/or no steps are recorded (I suspect you are not swinging your arm in what is probably a limited space) Your phone on the other hand may be in your pocket & recording the movement & "Steps". The other extreme noted is that people typing or driving accumulate many steps because of the motion.
