Hi Team,
I've been wearing my fitbit for 5 nights, but it's still not recording my body temperature while I sleep. Please note my device is fully updated, I've restarted it, and the band is as tight as it can go without cutting off some serious blood circulation. Any ideas why it isn't working and any recommendations / solutions for me to try?
Cheers, Georgie

To clarify, you are missing the Skin Temperature, which is listed as one of the 5 Heart Metrics?
I ask because you also refer to Body temperature, which is not measured by the Inspire 3, but you can manually enter and track Body temperature if you choose to.

Mine is recording as above. I'm sure this can't be right. I'm confused as to why my skin temp would be - 3.9°c? 😂

Skin temperature is a 'delta' measurement from your average skin temperature. In your case, that means that your skin temperature was 3.9 degrees below your average skin temperature for that night.

@NZGeorgie95 , are you getting sleep stages (Awake, REM, Light, Deep)? Some Fitbit documentation that I found states:
"There are many factors that can affect a user’s Temperature (Skin) value. Recording the data while a person is asleep allows the Fitbit device to correctly and accurately collect Temperature (Skin) data. Data is only processed when the user is still. If a user moves too much or their sleep session is too short, this can prevent Temperature (Skin) data from being processed correctly. In addition, if recorded data is incapable of computing specific sleep stages for a period of sleep, this will compromise the user’s ability to retrieve a Temperature (Skin) value."

Hello @NZGeorgie95 and welcome to the Community. I want to clarify the difference between body temperature and skin temperature variation. Fitbits report a skin temperature variation. Body temperature is for a core temperature measurement, like a forehead or ear temperature that you record manually. Certain Pixel phones can measure body temperature and will record it automatically.
I hope this helps.

Yep, all of my sleep stage data (and est. oxygen variation data) has been coming through - no issues there at all - it's just the body / skin temperature data that hasn't been working. It comes up with 'No data' / 'No temperature logged'.

If you have no plans to log and track Body temperature, you can use the pencil icon on the Today screen to switch off Body temperature.
