My Inspire 3 is only 18 months old and is starting to fail. It sometimes gets my HR right and other times does not even respond to my treadmill workout. I'm huffing and puffing and it reads around 80bpm, no more! Other days it's more "ball park" at 130 bpm.

I've tried cleaning the sensors with rubbing alcohol and also my skin. Tried different positions in proximity to my wrist and different band tensions. I've tried restarting the tracker as well. Some days it works for a few hours and then goes back to being useless.

What is the life expectancy of Fitbit trackers???

I was getting so frustrated I have ordered and Charge 6 and hope it lasts longer.

Okay my new Charge 6 arrived. I set it up and it recorded my workout and stat bike ride beautifully. It was very easy to unpair the old Inspire 3 and pair the new tracker. 😀 Fingers crossed this one lasts more than 18 months. 🤞
