I have lost my Inspire but my App is still showing steps. As it uses Bluetooth how can that happen?

Replying to myself. It MUST be here somewhere. Sure enough my wife searched again, found. As it was in an unworn coat pocket how did it record 9000 plus steps????

Hi @Nigelfreedom and warm welcome to the forums.
I appreciate your message regarding your app still counting steps despite having lost your Fitbit devic.
It looks like you might have MobileTrack enabled.
MobileTrack uses your phone's sensors to count your steps. This is useful when you've left your Fitbit at home (for example, charging). Make sure MobileTrack isn't enabled. Steps recorded with your mobile phone may overwrite those from your Inspire.
In the Fitbit app, tap the Devices icon (top left).
You'll then see the devices linked to your account.
If you see the Active Mobile Device (Smartphone) option, tap it and remove it from your account.
