Lymphedema compression sleeve&heart rate

Recently upgraded from inspire HR to inspire 3. I cannot get accurate heart rate readings while wearing my compression sleeves/compression gloves and exercising. There is no skin contact. Wearing the compression gear is not optional. The Inspire HR was able to read through them.

 

Any suggestions? Wearing it on an ankle? Using a clip on attachment?

The manual (page 12) says that if you wear the Inspire 3 as a clip, there is no heart rate tracking,

  • Note that when Inspire 3 is set to CLIPPED on Body , certain features are turned off, including heart-rate tracking, automatic exercise tracking, and Active Zone Minutes.

Wearing on your ankle might work, have not tried that myself.
