Most Reliable Fitbit Models?

Hello! I got myself a Fitbit Inspire 3 mainly to help me monitor my heart rate, but now I’m on to my second replacement under the warranty and have only been able to use the thing for 2 days altogether. I’m still within my window to return it to the store I bought it from, so I’m wondering if there’s a more reliable model of Fitbit I can try instead. I don’t have a car and have reduced mobility, so every time I have to return it and pick up the replacement it’s up to a 2 hour round trip on public transit.

Alternatively, has anyone been able to solve/prevent an issue where the Fitbit disconnects from bluetooth, becomes unresponsive, and won’t restart while you’re partway through changing the clock face? Thanks in advance!

Hi, @tybk11, welcome to the community, if your device keeps disconnecting from the phone Bluetooth I suggest you review the settings in the Fitbit app on your phone. You do not mention the make or model of your mobile phone, some play better with Fitbit than others, Fitbit Supported Devices explains some of the issues.

In an Android phone (iPhones are not very different) open your phone settings>apps>Fitbit>permissions, allow all>storage & cache, clear cache>mobile data & WiFi>enable background data & unrestricted data usage, ensure you have credit in your carriers data account>app battery usage, unrestricted. This last is because some phones do not treat the Fitbit app as essential & turn it off to save battery while we need it to run constantly in the background.

I hope this helps but if you are still stuck, please post here again.

Cheers
