My inspire 3 does not reflect the same amount of steps as my dashboard

My inspire 3, even after syncing and restarting will show a different number of steps than my app. I have tried restarting and syncing my watch. Sometimes it is 1000 steps sometimes it is 300 steps. Any suggestions on why and how to fix this?

My device and app also periodically do not display the same data.  My active minutes and hourly activity will disappear from the app before my eyes and never resynch that I've been able to see.  No suggestions other than give up Fitbit.  Seems to be what Google wants us to do.

I've recently noticed this same problem -- it started a few days ago. Right now, my app has me at 9,141 steps but the actual Inspire 3 band has me at 7,767. The app has also retroactively increased my steps for the time since I got the band (I've recorded my daily steps on a spreadsheet since 2011). Any way of fixing this?

I came here for this same issue. For a week, uninstall, restart, sync, scan,  over and over.  The app isn't keeping up with the device.  It tells me I need to update and there's no update available.

I have the same problem. The apps steps and my tracker steps don't match by day's end. Lousy update!

I am having the same issue. It was happening the last couple of days, but it would sync eventually. Today, it’s not syncing correctly at all. I have restarted the Fitbit device, restarted my phone, removed and reactivated the app… it’s still acting wonky and none of those fixes the issue yet.
