My under 13 year old daughter cannot use Inspire 3

I have a Charge 4 and my daughter (under 13 yo) got an Inspire 3.  I have tried pairing her device but it looks like unless it's an Ace device, I can't add her on my account.  How do others handle this situation when their child under 13yo doesn't have a phone to connect to?  Using an Android phone if that matters...

@trinity2979   I'm sorry, but you can't set up an Inspire 3 for someone who is under 13.  In a nutshell, it is because of internet privacy laws that protect children.  An Inspire 3, like your Charge 4, has a web based dashboard.  Your daughter can't setup an account to use an Inspire 3 for the same reason she can't have a Facebook account.

Thank you for your response.  I do wish Fitbit would make something for those kids that would like something less "kiddish" if that makes sense.  I should have done my due diligence - my bad.  She doesn't have a phone so I guess we're out of luck and will be returning the Inspire and looking for another option.

@trinity2979  FWIW, Inspire 2 bands fit the Ace 3.  The smallest wrist circumference for a small band is 5.5" (140 mm).  When a child becomes old enough to upgrade their account, the Ace 3 pebble gets upgraded to become an Inspire 2.  The Ace 3 is designed for children as young as 6.  It's helpful, but not necessary for a child to have their own phone.  They see their stats on the parent/guardian's phone.

Ace 3 is trash since Google buy Fitbit. On Apple Family link app you cant create a child account. I was able to create one but the Fitbit app tell child cant use the app as it’s a supervised account. ?!? We buy a Inspire 3 and create a new account with the incorrect year. What a mess.

@Morpho   I'm not the Fitbit or internet police, but it is a violation of the Terms of Service to create a fraudulent account.

You might think that I'm being extreme.  But I had an incident, not involving Fitbit or a child under 13.  A registered sex offender downloaded photos of my daughter.  Internet privacy laws and minimum age exist for a reason.

Additionally, you cannot access or use the Fitbit Service if you are barred from receiving services under applicable law or have previously been suspended or removed from the Fitbit Service."

United States Federal Law, under COPPA (16 CFR Part 312), requires parental permission for children under the age of 13. If the parent/guardian chooses to allow their child to have an account, they can. 

Therefore under FitBit's own TOS and in accordance with United States Federal Law, if a CONSENTING PARENT creates them an account, it is perfectly legal. It is FitBit's lack of COMMON SENSE that places extreme limited crap-trackers for "family" accounts."

And FYI Kids of any age can have a Facebook account with parental consent using their correct age.
