New Fitbit user. My mother upgraded to a different fitbit and I am using her original to see how I like it. I cannot for the life of me get the heart rate monitor to work. I've charged it up, updated the firmware, cleaned the sensor and worn it (a finger width above my wrist bone and not too tight) for 2 full days now and nothing. It thinks I'm dead apparently. Any suggestions to point me in the right direction to get it working would be awesome. Thank you!!!

@tranobago have you checked that the heart rate detection is turned on? To do that, press the button on the side of your device. Scroll to "Settings" and select that. Scroll to "Heart Rate" and turn it on if it's not already.

Hello @tranobago! Welcome to our community forums!
I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire HR is not tracking your heart rate. I appreciate all the steps you tried before contacting.
I suggest you check in your watch settings if the heart rate function is ON, in the Settings app > Heart Rate you can turn it On or Off. If the HR is set On please turn it Off and sync, then turn On and sync again, after that try a restart.
