Hi there folks,
I've just bought an Inspire 3 for HR monitoring during exercise, but I've noticed that the HR sensor seems to be pretty inaccurate. It's on my wrist snugly, but with enough looseness that I can slide it up and down. I wear watches on my inner wrist, though I've tried it on my outer wrist and found the same thing: I just timed my pulse for 1 minute, using my carotid pulse, which was 57, but my watch showed a HR of 72 for the same time period.

I just bought the inspire 3 and all I wanted it for was to read my HR during workouts. Before the workout starts, it gives me a pretty accurate reading. However, once I start sweating, it is completely useless. It was giving me, after 15 minutes on the treadmill, a continuous 94 bpm but I was sweating and working pretty hard. The treadmill's HR monitor was showing my HR to be 117 bpm. This was consistent throughout the remainder of my 60 minute workout. Some machines, the HR monitors don't work, which is why I bought the fitbit inspire 3. Hopefully they'll accept a return. If not, I'll try craigslist or marketplace... maybe someone will want it. Good luck!
