New Inspire 3 - do my infos stay saved if I replace an old device?

Hi. I had an Inspire HR for years but can't use it anymore as the strap connection has broken on the Fitbit so have bought an Inspire 3. I want to retain my Inspire HR stats - when I go to add a new device on the app, it warns that I will disconnect the HR and replace with the Inspire. Unsure if this will make my HR stats  disappear. Any ideas? Thanks

@EmmaJB1968 , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message.

No matter if you setup a new Fitbit or removing it from your account, all synced data will remain saved in your account until you decide to delete it.

Because of that we always recommend, if possible to sync your older device before setting the new one so that the latest infos recorded by the old one can be saved to your account.

Hi.

Thanks for your reply.

If I remove my old device, as I'm prompted to do, how would I be able to
view my old device data in the future, then, if its not showing on the app?
Thanks.

@EmmaJB1968   Your data gets synced to your Fitbit account.  Your Inspire 2 and 3 data are one seamless account.  I've had 13 different Fitbit models on my account since 2013.  One seamless account.

@LZeeW  Thank you for sharing your experiences.

@EmmaJB1968 , Thank you for your reply.

Once synced, the info recorded by your Fitbits will be saved into your account.

You can review the activities recorded in the app and some of them on the Online Dashboard (fitbit.com)

Almost all information is listed by date and time, so that you can check it anytime. The data previous to the new Fitbit will be the data saved from your old device.

Thank you, I've now added my new device and can see all my data, just as
