New Inspire 3 won't update

Hello,

I just bought the Fitbit Inspire 3 today. I previously had the Sense 2, so I know that after the first charge the watch usually updates to the latest version. This hasn’t happened with the Inspire 3.

Currently, I have Version 20001.188.58 (I can see it both in the app and on the watch), but I saw that the latest available version for the Inspire 3 is 214.24.

I’ve already tried everything: deleted the app from my phone, restarted the Inspire 3, but still no update. I couldn’t find any more information online, so I decided to post here, hoping someone can help me.

Thank you!

@jofitbi You're welcome. I understand your concern.

I'd recommend waiting a day or so more to see if the Fitbit app shows you a new update for your Inspire 3. I had a similar experience with my Versa 2, the newest update showed up 72 hours after the setup. I understand that you did not have this experience with your Sense 2, but I'd say that since the Inspire 3 is older than the Sense 2, that is why it is taking longer to show up the update. However, if you're still not able to update your Inspire 3 in a maximum of 2 days, please reach out to our Support Team one more time for further help.

Hi Marre, thank you for your reply. Actually, the case was closed because they told me I should wait until the Fitbit app allows me to update. But the thing is, the version I currently have (188.58) is so old (maybe 2 years old?) that it makes no sense that the Fitbit app doesn’t give me the opportunity to update to a newer version (like the 214.24 or 220.21).
