New update seems to prohibit zone minutes being tracked

Hi— I’ve been a loyal Fitbit user (probably on my 5th device) for about a decade or more. This recent update for my Inspire 3 doesn’t want to consistently read my Heart rate, thus affecting my zone minutes. Can I undo the update? I much prefer how it worked before the update (which I think I did about June 1). I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, charged it, and done all the things I normally do when I have issues. FYI. I guess I could try doing those thing again…

Hello @EBJ3050 and welcome to the Community.  Can you please clarify something?  When you say your Fitbit doesn't consistently read your heart rate, are you saying that your graphs have gaps in them?  If you don't have gaps, then I suspect the difference is due to a feature of the update.  A firmware update changed the heart rate algorithm and is supposed to make it more accurate at faster heart rates.

That firmware update cannot be undone.  Fitbit put that feature on several current models.  My AZMs went down when it got added to my Sense 2.  But my Sense 2 was very inaccurate while exercising.  I could put my finger on my pulse and know that my Fitbit was wrong.

I agree! Would love to go back to how it was before the update!
