Not connecting to gps

I have not been able to contact to gps for about a week now. 

I have been through all the steps to make sure everything is turned on as it should be in phone settings, even deleted and reinstalled the app and nothing.

Anyone have any ideas please?

I think you appreciate the Inspire 3 does not have GPS but piggybacks on your phone's GPS, your phone needs to be within Bluetooth range of your Inspire 3 to use this function. If you are starting your walk/run using the auto-recognize feature it does not engage GPS, you need to start the exercise on your Inspire 3 (exercise)

Since the app updated a couple days ago, I can't figure out in the Exercise tile where or how to connect GPS so it will map my route for a hike, walk or run, through my phone. I knew how to do it prior to this update and now I simply can't find or figure it out anymore. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, @KathyFitz, welcome, to any exercise that uses GPS such as walking, running, & biking will engage GPS when you start it via the exercise icon on your Inspire 3 provided your cellphone (with GPS turned on) is within Bluetooth range of your device (& remains there) If you use the auto-recognise feature (start doing your thing without engaging the "Exercise") then GPS is not engaged and there will be no map. I suggest you review your Bluetooth settings, App permissions, and operating practices.

Turn off bluetooth, "forget" the Inspire3, turn bluetooth back on and re-connect the Inspire3.  I quite often have to do this if I have not used my phone when exercising for a while.
