Just started today. No notifications will alert on my Inspire 3. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, restarted my phone and fitbit multiple times and nothing worked. DND and Sleep Mode are off so that isn't the issue.

You'll have to search it out, version 4.21 was on about the third page in search results. Uninstall the current version and install that one. Pretty sure giving you more detailed information than that won't be allowed to be posted here, sorry

That's not the previous version, that's like 50 versions before that, I thought you got the 4.52.1, I guess I'll just wait for the update.

I'm running 4.52.1 and can confirm that notifications are coming through again.

Couldn't find 4.52 unless it was packaged with a separate install program, and I wasn't comfortable with having to install that extra installer app, but most likely it can be done just fine that way. I personally didn't lose any functionality that was important going that far back, but could be that others wouldn't feel the same way.

Did you manage to get it with the same signature as the one on the Play Store?

?? It was working, but don't know about the signature. Maybe a moot point now anyway because I just got updated to the latest version via the Play Store, and it appears the bug is fixed! Fingers crossed that it continues to work....a good sign that it's working right from the start.

I also got updated yesterday and it worked for the day and this morning when I turned my phone on, I turn my phone off overnight, it's back to not working again. My app updated again this morning I am on 4.53 something and still not working

If it's 4.53, it's not the latest version, it's 4.55, my notifications also came back briefly on 4.53 but now have been gone for good for a few days.

Mines showing 4.55.1 I believe, and going directly to this on the Play store it gave me the option to update (again!?), we'll see. Seems to me the way it works intermittently can make this a very elusive bug to track down. Could it be interacting with another app is causing this? If so, the likely culprits (to my way of thinking anyway) would be Tasker, Total Launcher, KLWP, or Android Auto. I completely disabled both Tasker and Android Auto the other day but this didn't seem to help.

Did you do anything special to get it to work?

How did you go back to the old version?

You'll have to search out older versions of this outside of the Play Store. Unfortunately now that I have updated again it has quit working for me as well. Oh well I'll just go back to 4.21 until it's fixed

I ended up trying that (V 4.21) and it would refuse to sync and prompt me to update again to be able to sync the watch. So no luck there either.

Every single time the app is opened, it pops up a message telling me an update is available (annoying for sure - luckily I rarely open it once it's up and running). I've been able to get past this pop up, and then set everything back up from there, and I do mean *everything* even vibration when a notification is received.

Just figured out you can disable the auto update for Fitbit, then the pop up will disappear if running an older version. (search that out if necessary, probably not allowed to post those instructions here). I'm going with that option until more headway is made toward getting this sorted out.

I have the same problem. I've spent almost 2 hours doing all the troubleshooting steps with no luck. As much as this sucks, I'm glad to hear its not just me. I hope something is done soon. I rely heavily on my watch to notify me when I need my phone silenced during meetings at work.

My phone updated to 4.55.1 and the problem still isn't fixed despite trying all the troubleshooting they usually recommend.

I contacted support via chat today, they gave me the following instructions which have worked (so far):
It should work. (I am also on 4.55.1)
