Phone notifications keep stopping on Inspire 3

I have an Inspire 3 and find it handy to get WhatsApp notifications etc through it.

However every week or so it seems to stop allowing the notifications. Has anyone got a fix for this?

I managed to get it working on the last time with instructions on Google (e.g. change app notifications, unsync, etc) but can't seem to sort it now.

Hi @olivie1. Welcome to the forums.

Thank you for sharing the inquiry about this difficulty with your Inspire 3.

Please follow the steps listed here Why are notifications delayed or missing? depending on your phone.

If the above doesn't work, please try the following steps in the order listed:

  1. Unpair your Inspire 3 from Fitbit account via Fitbit app (From the Today tab, tap the devices icon, on the trash can located on the top right corner of the page)
  2. Unpair your Inspire 3 from mobile device's Bluetooth settings (Settings > Bluetooth > Inspire 3 > Unpair)
  3. Go to Settings on your mobile device
  4. Click on Apps
  5. Click on the Fitbit App > Storage > Click on Clear Cache and Clear Data
  6. Restart your phone and restart your Inspire 3 once again.
  7. Next, make sure your Location and Bluetooth setting are both turned ON on your mobile device and you are wearing your Fitbit device
  8. Open the Fitbit App (it may ask you to login)
  9. Pair your Inspire 3 to Fitbit account
  10. Make sure settings in the app are set preferably/correctly
  11. Sync Inspire 3
  12. Make sure their permissions and mobile device settings are set correctly
  13. On your mobile device: Go to your phone's settings
  14. Click on Apps > Fitbit
  15. Click on Permissions and make sure everything is set to ON (Contacts, Phone, SMS, Storage, Location)
  16. Go back a page and click on Notifications and make sure Allow notifications are set to ON and On lock screen is set to Show content
