'Relax' breathing exercise problem after update

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

When doing the relax guided breathing exercise on the fitbit, unfortunately there is no longer a guided visual where the circle gets larger as you inhale and contracts as you exhale (with colour). It is now only a colourless blob which does not move, and just has a line at the bottom indicating time remaining. This renders the feature unhelpful for guided breathing sessions as it's only text-based. This happened after I updated. Is there any chance this can be fixed? The other version of the relax feature was much better for panic attacks.

Hi, @octapusandstars , unfortunately this is a bug that is affecting some Inspire 3 users.  The development team at Google is aware of the issue and are working on a fix, but so far none has been yet rolled out.

You could try giving your Inspire 3 a restart which is usually the first trouble shooting step whenever your Fitbit is not behaving as expected.  However many users experiencing this issue (including me!) have not found a restart helpful for this issue, so I guess we just have to wait until a fix is rolled out.

Please watch for updates to your Fitbit - hopefully the next one will fix this.  Welcome to the Community forums!

Thanks very much Julia! I wasn't sure if it was a bug. Really hoping it will be fixed as I loved the feature before! I will restart it and see if this works.

Do you know how long this has been happening? I'm wondering whether Fitbit will fix this, it's a huge downgrade for this feature
