Hi,
I got my wife a brand new Inspire 3 and somethting I can't figure it out is how to make the screen automatically wake up when you get a notification? The band does vibrate, but the screen remains black, not showing anything about who's calling or sending a message.
I've got myself a Charge 5 and the screen does automatically wake up when I get a notification. I've checked all relevant settings withing "Settings", but it seems there's no parameter that controls this, so I'm assuming obivously the screen should wake up when you get a notification.
I've already restarted the device several times, but it makes no difference.
Is this expected behaviour or is it a bug? If it is the former, then it's a no go and I'll return the watch and ask for refund.
Thanks

Hi there @BennyLava!
A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community!
Thank you so much for reporting that the Inspire 3 doesn't automatically show when you get a notification and for all your efforts.
You mentioned you've already checked all settings, but could you please check again if the option "Auto-wake" is activated?
For a faster way to access certain settings, swipe down from the clock face. Tap a setting to adjust it. When you turn off a setting, the icon appears dim with a line through it. Look for "Auto-wake".
I suggest you try to follow all the troubleshooting steps described in this article too: Why are notifications delayed or missing?

Hi,
Thanks for repyling. Yes Auto-wake is on. I went through the link you gave but doing all the instructions didn't make a difference.
But can you confirm this is expected behaviour or not? Is the Inspire 3 suppose to wake up automatically while receiving a message or a call or does it require moving the wrist or tapping the screen?
thanks
