a couple of weeks ago my inspire three has stopped showing the time when I raise my arm or turn my wrist. The screen stays black. If I tap the screen three or four times then the time and date show up. Has anyone else noticed this problem?

Have unintentionally disabled Auto Wake?
Tap the screen, scroll down one page. If it's lit up blue it's active, if it's dark with a diagonal line through the icon it's disabled.
Otherwise are you in DND mode?
This time scroll down two screens where you can toggle DND on and off.

Hi there, @glendhu. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I'm sorry to hear that the screen wake on your Inspire 3 is no longer working. I understand your concern, we're here to help you!
I agree with @Extreme_One. It could also be possible that your Inspire 3 is in sleep mode. When the sleep mode setting is on:
To turn off Sleep Mode, swipe down from the clock screen. Tap a setting to adjust it. . For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?
If the above doesn't describe your issue, please go to your quick settings and check that screen wake hasn't accidentally been turned off. swipe down from the clock screen again and tap the setting to adjust it. Change whether the screen turns on when you turn your wrist.
If this setting is set correctly, please try restarting your Inspire 3 by following these steps: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
