I used to have sedentary mode enabled to track my calories in and out without any estimate with my fitness pal. Since the last 1-2 weeks, the fitness pal app shows estimates and It let me eat way too much calorie. I can't find the sedentary mode anymore in the fitbit app. Can anyone tells me where I can find the setting?
Thanks

@Rick83 The option to switch between sedentary and personalized was only on the web dashboard. Changes on the web were reflected in the mobile app. Other users are making the same comment as in your original post. I suspect that personalized is the only option now that the web dashboard is shut down.

Hello and welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Rick83.
Thank you for letting me know about this situation in regards to the sedentary mode in the Fitbit app using your Inspire 3.
Here are some things to check if your Fitbit isn't showing sedentary mode:
- It can take up to 24 hours for data to appear on your account after syncing. If you don't see recent activity data, check back in a few hours. You can also check the Apps screen to make sure the Fitbit app is still connected and synced.

Hello CrisVillaFitbit,
Thank you for your assistance. I used to get a dashboard on fitbit.com, but now the Dashboard doesn't show any option other that inviting me to install the app on my phone view my badges and manage my Inspire. I can't find any "see more" option. The app on my phone doesn't seem to have any option to set my food plan to anything neither. The interface has changed in the last weeks and options are now missing.
Tĥank you

Thank you Bill_209,
Do you still have access to your fitbit.com dashboard ? As far as I can tell, there's no more options to manage anything within the Dashboard itself. I may be wrong, but mine just tell me to go to the fitbit app and the option to switch from personalized to sedentary vanished in the app. I read other post saying that Google got rid of the Dashboard so I wonder if some people still have access to it. this is a screenshot of the Dashboard now.

Thank you LzeeW,
This is what I think as well, unfortunately google makes a lot of changes on the service itself, but it keeps the old documentation as is in the app so it confuses people. This is sad for fitbit community because it really was a great product overall and it doesn't seem that google listen to what the user wants versus what the Corps want.
Thanks again.

@Rick83 , Google completely shut down the Fitbit dashboard on July 8, 2024, well before the app was able come even close to providing customers with all the capabilities that the dashboard had, and customers have been strongly voicing their displeasure with that decision on this forum ever since.
The Fitbit dashboard was one of the major things that put the Fitbit fitness tracker ahead of the rest of pack, but that is gone now.
