I'm having the same thing.  Tech support said the 'Worn on wrist' setting might have changed.  Wasn't the case for me, but you might check that...

I did a reset via the watch settings, and made sure it was tight a little higher on my wrist; and the data is back this morning.

Ok thanks for that , i have tried all , but it seems i think you have to now subscribe to premium to get this now, i have always had this service without subscription, on my last Fitbit , seems its only counting my steps now with out subscription so i may as well buy a cheap step watch as this kind was £130 last year so i have had one year of tracking night sleep and bpm and no more 🙈

Sorry you still have a problem. I have no other suggestions. Think it
should be possible without a subscription; and hope it remains that way, as
my I3 is only a month old!
Good health and smiles for you.

Mine does that too. Sometimes I can restart my phone and it works. Sometimes I have to change from data to wifi and restart and it works. I have found the BPM is wrong a lot of the times and you only realize it when you are doing a lot of work and you want to check it.  I was doing major cardio earlier today and it had me at 76 BPM. So frustrating.
