Last night my Inspire 3 sleep data looked very different. Normally I get the full breakdown (awake, REM, light, deep), but this time it only shows three categories: awake, restless, and asleep.
On top of that, the results are totally inaccurate – I was awake for long periods during the night, but the app shows I slept almost the whole night.
Does anyone know why this happened?
Thanks!

Hi @JohanSweden. You got sleep patterns, not sleep stages. This can happen from time to time to anyone. The most common reason is that your Fitbit couldn't get a detailed heart rate recording. Your Fitbit records your heart rate on a beat to beat basis. It uses changes in your heart rate variability and breathing rate to estimate your sleep stages. You might have slept in an odd position or your tracker was too loose.
Your sleep patterns graph can say that you are asleep when you are awake. The only 'useful' information that your Fitbit is getting is that your wrist isn't moving. This was the normal experience in older models that didn't track sleep stages.
