Still cannot add Inspire 3 to 13 year olds fitbit account

My daughter recently turned 13 and got an Inspire 3 but cannot add it to her fitbit account which is signed in with her Google account. Only comes up with Ace options. This is very frustrating. Have removed parental supervision from Family Link but it still isn't working.

Hi, @Yeahright0 , if your daughter has a child Fitbit account, and you are the guardian, and you also log in with a Google account, you should receive an email from Google shortly before the child’s birthday in which she reaches the required age for an adult account in your country (13 in the US, but not all countries/regions depending on local laws and regulations).  Could you have missed the email? Or are you in a country where the age is greater than 13?

You mention that you removed parental supervision from family link.  Did you remove yourself as Guardian?  If your child meets the country age requirement you may need to re-set that if the email did not arrive when it should have and try again.  Also the procedure is a little different if you log in with a Fitbit account rather than a Google Account.  Please see the full help article on how to manage your child’s account in the Fitbit app.

Yes received the email from Google and was no longer guardian but still
wasn't able to use her original google account with fitbit to use the
inspire. Ended up making her a new google account.
