Text notifications are not coming through my Inspire 3

My inspire three will give me call notifications but not text, is there a way to fix that?

Hi there, @Matt-E. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. It's sad to hear that your Inspire 3 is not giving you text notifications. I will do my best to help you with this. 

To better assist you, may I know if you're using an iOS device? If so, I was wondering if the text messages that your Inspire 3 is not receiving are iMessages? I also have an iPhone and had a similar trouble with those messages, but I tried toggling the iMessage setting; general > Messages > iMessage and verified the "Show Previews" was on "Always". If this steps don't work for you, I suggest taking a look at the help article: Troubleshooting quick tips for iPhones.
