Did you mean:

Thank you Fitbit for releasing cardio load during the holidays

Love the daily reminders I’m failing as a person because I have been swamped with normal holiday stuff that doesn’t allow me to meet new fitness goals 😂 I still don’t understand the feature yet but maybe this week I will finally have time to get into it. Happy holidays!

Hi, @Jaeb224 , I am sure that the reminders are not meant to suggest that you are “failing as a person”!  I think they are meant to be gentle nudges to encourage you to achieve your best.

If these are reminders that are coming to you on your Inspire 3, you can turn off messages from Fitbit in your app, which should solve the issue!  When the distractions of the holiday are past, then you can turn them back on again, if you like! (It’s in the settings menu on your Fitbit app under push notifications.). I hope this helps.

Wishing you a happy holiday and a new year that brings all good things.

I agree with the not understanding it.  I have no idea what it means.  I've looked it up and I still don't get it.  Any helpful hints out there???

@Bfm129 and @Jaeb224 Cardio Load is a measure of how hard your cardiovascular system is working during exercise and during your regular activities. You can set a goal of maintaining or improving fitness. Then you get a daily Target Cardio Load that is supposed to help you achieve that goal.

I have a Google Pixel Watch 3, which was the first device to have the Cardio Load feature, so I've had access to that for more than three months. I find it to be helpful, but I also understand that everyone is busy right now. Cardio Load will still be there in January or whenever you get around to it.

@Jaeb224   I feel like you.  My graph started with a 1-100 range.  I got downscaled to a 1- 25 range from normal holiday stuff.  🤣  And three notifications, one after the other, my lack of progress.  🤣🤣

@Julia_G  These notifications aren’t like call or text notifications that you can turn off.

@LZeeW I understand that they are different from call and text notifications, of course, but if they are notifications received on the wrist my understanding is that they can indeed be turned off by turning off by turning off push notifications from Fitbit.

@Julia_G   I don’t get them on my wrist.  They only appear on my app.

I have only seen notifications about Cardio Load in the app. They can't be dismissed. You can X them out, but they come back as soon as you refresh the Fitbit app. The only way to get rid of them is to meet (but not exceed) your Cardio Load Target.

Fitbit doesn't even exist as a Company anymore.

Google completed the acquisition of Fitbit in January 2021.
