Transferring to Google account

1) When is the deadline for transferring to Google?

2) Does the device I use the App on need to be logged into a specific Google account in order for a transferred Fitbit device to work? I have several google accounts and am logged out on my iPad. I don’t want to log into google permanently on my apple device as I have a number of different email accounts and am concerned they will stop working if logged specifically into one.

3) Will the Fitbit still count steps and tell the time if I don’t transfer it? I’m annoyed about being forced into having a google account for the device to work. What a waste of money otherwise. I’m regretting investing in a Fitbit 😳

I transferred over at the end of last year.  Prior to this the Fitbit app allowed me to download data for a specific period eg a month.  If you have still not transferred to a Google Account can you have a look at the data export options to see if you can still export data for a specific time period.  With the change to a Google Account you cannot do this as you have to export ALl of your Fitbit data no matter how little you require.
